What we offer: Cycling holidays

The French love cycling and Burgundy can offer various levels of cycling from the gentle beginner to the experienced mountain cyclist or road rider.

There are unique cycle paths called La Voie Verte in southern Burgundy and this is a tarmaced path, about 117kms long, specifically for cyclists.

Using a disused railway line and canal tow-paths, the route goes through a variety of landscapes, past chteaux, vineyards and along waterways. (www.burgundy-by-bike.com).

Alternatively, If you prefer a more challenging form of cycling, the Maconnais and Beaujolais hills offer a series of “chemins” (paths) which can take you through the vineyards of Burgundy or the forests giving you a sense of achievement when you reach the heights of the hills.

Packed lunches can be provided - please ask for further details. We have a drying room for all wet clothes and a secure garage for your bikes.
